At the Knitting Centre ladies are taught how to knit clothing and various other articles. Each child at the Day Care Centre receives a brand new jersey at the start of winter to keep them warm. Where possible articles are sold to raise much needed funds for the centre or alternatively, donated to other charitable causes. Recently about 100 jerseys were donated to children in Zandspruit to ward off the winter chill.
