Our sewing centre is a vibrant and supportive space where the women of the Centre can gather and spend time on Wednesday and Friday mornings away from their difficult lives and take part in sewing classes. Where possible, sewn articles are sold to raise funds for the women and the Centre.

Our ladies love learning new skills and techniques and have become very proficient. Our hope is to provide them with the knowledge and ability to use their skills productively at home and generate much needed income along with restoring their sense of worth and pride. Their enthusiasm when a new article has been completed is a joy to see.

All the ladies are extremely thankful when we receive new donations of material and sewing utensils they can use. We are also currently looking for volunteers to assist in the Sewing Centre and would love for you to join our energetic group of women.
